About Shuba Easwaran

With over three years of experience in the venture capital and startup ecosystem I am passionate about supporting and empowering entrepreneurs who are innovating in the healthcare and wellness space. As an Investment Associate at Alkemi Growth Capital a healthcare and consumer-wellness focussed fund I leverage my analytical skills industry knowledge and network to source evaluate and close deals with promising early-stage companies. I also bring a diverse perspective and experience to the team as I have a Master of Pharmacy degree and a multicultural background (grew up in Africa!) Prior to joining Alkemi I was a Pre-MBA Venture Fellow at LetsVenture where I worked with a portfolio of over 100 startups across various sectors stages and geographies. I helped them with fundraising due diligence investor relations and strategy. I also gained hands-on experience in building and scaling a startup as I was a Student Investment Partner at Campus Fund a student-led micro VC fund that invests in campus startups. I was involved in all aspects of the fund operations from deal sourcing and analysis to portfolio management and community building. Through these roles I developed and demonstrated my attention to detail industry analysis and analytical skills as well as my ability to work with diverse and dynamic teams.
