It isn’t about coding a module but owning the product. Thank you for visiting my profile. I am currently serving as a Vice Manager at Rakuten, Tokyo. Here I work in the Fraud Prevention Section. I have dual roles : 1. Leading a team of 8 to prevent identity fraud. Driving the fraud portfolio across the section. I contribute in managing, designing and developing applications that guard our payment systems, membership accounts and transactions. I was an engineer when I started in the team. From developing applications to taking design decisions to managing product vision, roadmap and growth, it has been an exciting journey so far! Previously I worked with JP Morgan Chase in Mumbai in the international taxation space of the investment banking domain. We designed, developed and delivered efiling systems, enhanced already existing software with new technologies to upgrade features and boost performance. During my days in college, I have delivered a large number of free lanced projects for small and medium enterprises - mostly by myself but hired developers as and when needed. These projects helped me take end to end responsibilities of budgeting, marketing, project management, estimations, development, coding, testing and delivery.
