About Shubhangi Sharma

I'm a young social work professional with a post graduate degree in social work with a specialization in community development & human resource management, working as an senior corporate executive at The Akshaya Patra Foundation. I believe development professionals need both head and heart. If all you have is a bleeding heart, it wouldn’t work. If you only have a strong head, then you are going to dictate solutions which do not touch a human chord. And hence a balance between both the mind and heart is a must to work in the social development sector. Keenly interested in working with the communities to make them self reliant and bring on a revolution of change by eradicating problems of poverty, hunger, gender inequality, and other social evils that stunt the growth of individuals and communities.
