I help organizations build their defenses against cyber attacks. I specialize in multiple cyber security technologies like NextGen Firewalls, Privilege Identity Management, and Managed Detection and Response. I believe treasure is no longer under lock and key, the treasure has moved from precious stones to data and the physical lock and key is replaced with cyber security mechanisms. In this digital age, for anyone with an internet connection, cyber security is a necessity. To make cyber security simple, I like to use daily life anecdotes to explain cyber security. My focus is to find loopholes and see the spread of such incidents across the organisation. I have always been intrigued by mysteries and use research and analysis to solve the mysteries. I analyze structural risks, and research cyber threats to identify patterns using Security Incident and Event Management - SIEM, analyze it and close any security vulnerabilities in the system. At Bombay Stock Exchange, I was initially tasked with a company-wide technology upgrade for cyber security products, which involved redesigning the entire cyber security architecture for the company.My implementation of this new architecture led to an increase in the ROI of 25%. With SEBI cyber security compliance, I created a separate business unit worth USD to launch the Managed Security Services for member brokers. I led the project on implementation of cyber security framework at member broker premises with nearly terminals. I also championed the art of leading and organizing CyberSecurity Conference 2020 held by Bombay Stock Exchange. At Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, I started working on Managed Security Service by leading a team of 10 engineers for outsourcing the Cyber Security Operation Centers of the company that led to a secure infrastructure and better response times. Due to my exceptional performance, I was given additional responsibilities of evaluating high value press tenders and creating new project proposals worth USD 3.5 million. I was also a team lead for a project on Security Incident and Event Management implementation on malware outbreaks, malicious outbound access and brute force login attempts.
