About Shuichi Nagao

In 2015, I joined a friend's startup in Tokyo as a software engineer, where I developed a web app and an iOS app as a core developer. The web app was one of the largest in that space, and the startup was acquired by CROOZ. Shuichi joined a classmate's startup in Tokyo as a software engineer and developed a web app and an iOS app as one of the core contributors. The web app was one of the largest in that space and eventually ended up with a successful M&A. In 2017, after the M&A, Shuichi moved to AnyPay, a FinTech startup in Tokyo, which provided payment services. He was the first iOS engineer in this company, therefore he went through everything needed to deliver a new iOS app, like designing architectures, its development, unit testing, CD, API development, etc. In addition to the payment app, he had been involved in a Ethereum-based blockchain project to build an STO platform. Shuichi explored China and South East Asia in 2018 and was extremely impressed with the incredible economic growth of these regions. Now as a co-founder of Credify, Shuichi is building products out of Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan. Traveling around Asia (China, South East Asia) in 2018, the incredible economic growth of Asian countries was extremely impressive to me. And I started thinking to challenge myself in the Asian market to make a difference there. Now I'm a co-founder of Credify, which is tackling the credibility issues in digital economies in SEA.
