About Shula Melamed

Experienced Coach and Wellness Consultant with a strong background in public health, psychology, and behavioral health. As a Master of Public Health and Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, I specialize in addressing challenges related to interpersonal relationships, sexuality and health. With a Master of Arts in Psychology from New School University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Boston University, I bring a holistic approach to coaching and supporting individuals, couples and groups. At Building Better Relationships, LLC/Shula Melamed MA, MPH, I provide ongoing guidance and assistance to clients in managing anxiety, maintaining long-term partnerships, strengthening communication skills and addressing challenges in various areas of life head on. Additionally, as a Senior Behavioral Health Coach at Headspace Health, I offer on-demand behavioral health support, utilizing evidence-based practices and mindfulness-based techniques. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with diverse organizations such as Headspace, Fitspot Wellness, Inc, Imbody Wellness, and JCC of Manhattan, delivering corporate wellness presentations, co-founding a holistic health program, and providing social skills coaching. I hold a proven track record of developing and executing research-based programs and curricula, conducting qualitative and ethnographic research, and presenting findings at conferences.
