Shweta Kothari is a political economy journalist and media professor with over a decade of experience in broadcast and digital media. She has managed digital newsrooms, teams of content producers, and editors, to deliver editorial mandate. Currently, Shweta works as an Anchor & Senior Editor at News9, TV9 Network, while also teaching post-graduate students of journalism at Jamia Millia Islamia. Previously, she served as the Output Editor for SEEN, managing the India team and overseeing rundown operations. Shweta has also held editorial roles at The Logical Indian and NDTV. She began her career at CNBC-TV18, covering breaking news and conducting interviews with market leaders.
