About Shwetaa

Enthusiastic Korean language expert with a strong foundation in both language and culture. I hold a TOPIK Level 6 certification (completed in May 2024), along with an Advanced Level 5 certification from KUKLC, Korea University, Seoul—where I graduated with 89%. I'm genuinely passionate about the Korean language, culture, and traditions. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of native Korean speakers, interpreting across Korean, Tamil, and English (and vice versa). My experience includes volunteering with organizations like Plan International and Hyundai’s ‘Happy Move’ program, where I played a key role in facilitating cross-cultural communication. I’ve also lived in Korea for 7 months, which gave me hands-on experience using Korean in everyday life—an experience that truly deepened my understanding of the language and culture beyond textbooks. Professionally, I’ve worked as both an interpreter and a Korean language teacher. I’m also proficient in spoken Hindi and Rashtrabhasha, which allows me to connect with a wider audience in multilingual settings. In addition to my language skills, I served as a Corporate Coordinator in the "Voice of Excellence" student body under the Department of Management Studies at the University of Madras—an experience that helped me develop strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
