Happy to share my experiences about: setting up early stage GTM engine (primarily US market) startup operations and fundraising (esp US-India companies) the journey of making a successful pivot For those interested in more details here's my entrepreneurial journey thus far: - Started my first company at 23 in India and shut it down after three years of hustling and grinding. - Spent the next 5.5 years in the SF Bay Area doing multiple roles in Enterprise Sales and Marketing (Sales Sales Engg Sales Ops Legal Vertical Marketing and BizDev GTM Ops BDR Leader...) at a now-unicorn company category creating company as a way to learn and build my foundations for the next startup attempt. Extremely privileged to have worked closely with some amazing leaders who came from Salesforce Apttus Marketo etc. - Launched BuyerAssist in 2020 (in the middle of the pandemic) with two friends/ brilliant ex-colleagues to solve the problem of buyer-centric sales execution and alignment in large deals using Mutual Success Plans (a need that stemmed from our experience) moved countries to set up core operations in India. Raised $5.75M across two rounds of financing stood up a fantastic founding team to bring a remarkable product to market early customers include Skedulo Jobvite Consensus. - After 2.5 years of operations (learning the hard truths about PMF battling macro-economic headwinds) end of the ZIRP era and emergence of AI decided to pivot from Mutual Success Plans to BoomerangAI. Restructured the team and hit the Refresh button. - Current state: With early customers like Armis and Narvar BoomerangAI is delivering insane customer value in terms of $MM in high quality pipeline and on an accelerated path to growth. Super proud of the incredible team we've built and our ability to turn the ship around in record time with a market-leading product.
