As a Registered Practical Nurse at North York General Hospital, I provide quality care to patients on my acute medical unit. I am certified in Standard First Aid, BLS (HC) and AED, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills. I have over three years of work experience in the health care sector, including six months as a Public Health Nurse at City of Toronto, where I conducted health promotion and disease prevention activities for diverse communities. I also have a background in hospitality which helps me to create positive and engaging experiences for my clients and colleagues. I am currently pursuing a Bridging to University Nursing program at Centennial College, with the goal of becoming a Registered Nurse and advancing my career in the field of nursing. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of people and communities, and I value learning, collaboration, and compassion.
