I fell into Recruitment after University like many of us do but I'm so pleased I did. Relationship building, problem solving, continuous improvement, influencing to build a vision of doing Recruitment in a different and better way play to my strengths. I'm a huge advocate for educating Hiring Managers on Recruitment - it's not a skill that just comes with practise, you need to understand the best way of attracting, selecting and onboarding great talent. Passionate about Diversity and Inclusion, I firmly believe in self awareness and self led learning. Ever curious, I love learning how Talent Acquisition is continuing to evolve. We are not "just" job fillers, we add huge value to the business. We're not "just" a cost centre, but a commercial strategic function that works best when we receive the right level of investment and are brought into wider business conversations. I'm currently leading the Talent Acquisition Strategy for Malvern Panalytical and the Spectris Group.
