Hi everyone! I’m Sibi Karthik, a final-year Computer Science student at VIT Vellore, deeply passionate about machine learning, data science, and their transformative applications across industries. My academic journey and projects have been focused on exploring how advanced algorithms and models can extract actionable insights from complex datasets, with a keen interest in sports analytics and beyond. I’m fascinated by the intersection of data and decision-making, particularly in uncovering patterns and trends that drive smarter strategies and solutions. From leveraging convolutional neural networks for medical image classification to designing data-driven approaches for predictive modelling, I’m continually working on projects that push the boundaries of what technology can achieve. Looking ahead, I’m eager to pursue a master’s in data science, machine Learning, artificial intelligence, and statistics to deepen my knowledge and skills in these areas. I’m particularly interested in exploring how data-driven approaches can influence decision-making in various fields, with an emphasis on practical, real-world applications. While my primary focus is on machine learning and data science, I also have a strong personal connection to football. As a UEFA C licensed coach, I occasionally work with my university team to share tactical insights and refine skills—a rewarding hobby that helps me bridge theory and practice in a real-world context. This experience not only fuels my creativity but also provides unique perspectives on teamwork and problem-solving, which I bring to my tech pursuits.
