I currently part of the finance department of DG Capital. DG Capital is a specialised financial services group specialising in corporate finance, working capital finance, forex, insurance brokering, incentives and customs duties solutions. I was previously in the audit industry and served as a Senior Audit clerk with Moore Assurance East Rand Incorporated involved in audits and other assurance services. I was involved in audits of large, medium and small entities in various industries. I have an in-depth understanding of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, International Standard on Auditing (ISA's), Companies Act, King Report on Corporate Governance and the Income Tax Act. Prior to working in audit, I worked within the accounting department of Trade and Investments South Africa a division within the Department of Trade and Industry, were I performed financial management and reporting duties. Prior to working at the Department of Trade and Industry, I worked for Tshwane University of Technology.
