As a staff software engineer and engineering leader with over 12 years of experience, I have a proven track record of driving innovation, building teams, and delivering high-impact products. My current passion lies in leveraging LLMs to solve complex problems and create value for businesses and users.Currently, I lead the AI Frontiers team at Asana, spearheading the ideation, prototyping, and delivery of groundbreaking AI features across Asana. I personally drove the development of two flagship features - Smart Answers and Smart Status, leading to 4 x patents in my name. I now empower cross-functional product teams across Asana to ship innovative AI products with safety, utility, and velocity.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills in setting up new teams, creating product strategies, and driving alignment across organizations. I excel at navigating unknowns and generating principles to guide others in the context of new products and technologies.Prior to Asana, I held technical leadership roles at Dialpad and co-founded Buddybuild, a mobile CI/CD platform. I hold a background in Engineering Physics and and hold several patents, including three related to my work on LLMs at Asana.My goal as an innovator is to harness the power of technology to deliver value to humanity while ensuring its safe and responsible development.
