About Sid Chander

My work experience revolves around communication. I excel when given the opportunity to communicate an idea to an audience in the manner I determine best for that specific person or group. Whether it is a product I am pitching in a sales presentation, a lesson I teach to a class in the arena of education, or a proposal that I am writing about for a reader, I get genuinely excited when I solve how to best communicate an idea. When that effort connects with its intended audience, those are my most meaningful professional moments. Since 2008, I've worked in South Korea, Los Angeles, New York City, India, Spain, Washington DC, Baltimore and New Jersey. My exposure to these professional cultures led me to discover that although there are small (and fun) differences between each of them, ultimately people everywhere appreciate when they are addressed clearly, respectfully and without pretense. I'm surprised how often I see companies fail to exhibit these qualities to their audience and I believe this simple understanding coupled with dedicated effort has been the foundation for my career successes. Since 2010, I've consistently exceeded growth goals and metrics across my roles in Education Technology and the Food and Beverage space. I'm a self-motivated hard worker who is equally enthusiastic about assisting all teammates to their greatest successes in any way I can. I'm also passionate about learning as much as I can about storytelling from writing of all kinds to creative endeavors in photography and film.
