About Siddh Patel

As a cybersecurity enthusiast and master’s student in Information Security at Arizona State University, I thrive on solving complex security challenges and building resilient systems. My technical foundation spans both software engineering and security, with hands-on experience in full‑stack development and incident response. During my time as a software engineering intern at Casepoint, I developed and tested application modules in Python, C++ and JavaScript, collaborated with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, and honed my ability to communicate complex issues clearly to non technical stakeholders. I’m proud to have earned the ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification and to be an AWS Academy Cloud Architecting graduate. These credentials reflect my commitment to staying current with evolving security best practices, particularly in cloud environments. Beyond coursework, I actively participate in hackathons and research projects. most recently, our team won the AWS Jam hackathon for designing a secure cloud architecture, and our paper on machine‑learning‑based intrusion detection systems was accepted at the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Digital Technologies. I’m eager to apply my blend of software development expertise and security knowledge to protect organizations from emerging threats. I enjoy working in collaborative environments, tackling new challenges and continually learning. Currently open to cybersecurity analyst or engineer opportunities where I can contribute to building secure, scalable solutions and further my growth in the field.
