About Siddharth Handa
Siddharth believes in solving grassroot problems through enterprise. In 2012, he began researching the harmful effects of chemical and additives found in daily foods and decided to combat this problem, by co-founding The Baker’s Dozen – India’s largest chain of chemical-free bakery products and later. Do Roti Farms, a farm-to-fork subscription service for organic foods. For this, he learnt organic farming by observing and working with farmers across India. He also visited the farm of Masanobu Fukuoka (Author of One Straw Revolution) in Japan. In 2021, after the birth of his daughter, Siddharth learnt about the sensitive periods in early childhood and the importance of the first 6 years of life. To further his knowledge, he studied Montessori, Waldorf, and other pedagogies by enrolling in a formal 13-month program, and doing 100+ hours of observation across schools in India, Germany, and the Netherlands. It is Siddharth’s dream to run a high-quality school and to participate in the process of nation building through education.
