About Siddharth Nahar

With a passion for programming and puzzle-solving, I have been developing innovative software solutions to complex problems for over three years. Recently, I was a Software Development Engineer II at Flipkart, a leading Indian e-commerce platform, where I assist in designing and implementing data-driven features for their AdTech platform. One of my notable achievements was resolving a compatibility issue between open-source Druid and Dataproc on GCP, which improved data reporting reliability and decreased latency. I took full ownership of Druid for the entire Flipkart, demonstrating my skills in distributed systems and Big Data architecture.I am also pursuing my master's degree in Computer Science at UC San Diego, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Previously, I completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Science at IIT Ropar, where I conducted research on GAN networks and developed a new machine-learning architecture called META-GAN. I have also won multiple honors and awards, such as the KVPY Scholarship, the NPO and NCO Top 1%, and the Hackathon 1st Prize. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and seeking adventure. I am passionate about entrepreneurship, emerging and cross-disciplinary technology, and connecting with other like-minded individuals who share my enthusiasm for these fields.
