About Sidhant Sharma

As a Supervisor, Business Analyst at Bison Transport, I lead a team of 5 business analysts and guide projects from a strategic lens. I manage stakeholder conversations and expectations while working on simultaneous projects to enable technological efficiencies. I also lead and facilitate a series of workshops to instill project management skills on an organizational level. I utilize SQL to help support data analysis and decision making by building datasets, reports and stored procedures. With a focus on constant learning, I am currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from Queen's University with a focus on leadership, strategy and sustainability. In addition to my role at Bison Transport, I have served as the President of the Canadian Association of Business Students, a national not-for-profit organization that represents over students across Canada. I lead and supported a team of 9 individuals and provided support to deliver strategic initiatives. I created and maintained the organization's relationship with the Board of Directors and external partners. I also created and promoted an 'International Student Handbook', an initiative that combines the experience of students across Canada and provides a guide for students new to Canada. I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Finance and Management Information Systems in August 2021. I was the valedictorian of my class and received multiple scholarships and awards for my academic and leadership achievements. I have participated in debate and case competitions, exchange programs, and internships in both the public and private sector, gaining valuable skills and experiences in problem solving, communication, and presentation. I am a leader with a unique perspective, a critical listener, and a diverse contributor. I am passionate about creating positive impact and learning from different cultures and perspectives.
