Capably operated 3 Roaster Furnace with capacity - 150T/day, 300T/day and 954 T/day along with waste heat boilers working under 40 kg/cm2 pressure respectively. Deftly managed process parameters in Acid Plants producing 125T/day, 255T/day and 900 T/day H2SO4. Looked after the operations / running of - Waste Heat Recovery Boilers- Auxiliary Boilers - 10T and 20T capacity- ESP, WGP, Scrubber, Star Cooler, Hot Gas Precipitator- Tail Gas Treatment Plant (TGT)- Gas Cleaning Equipments- DM Plant producing 2500 m3 DM water and m3 soft water in a day. Supervised the storing, measurement of weight of concentrate in blend yard having MT capacity. Ensured the process adherence to Quality Systems like ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, SA Standards & Norms. Involved in the planning for shut down jobs and follow-up dealing with process / maintenance. Successfully implemented, planned & followed up for SOPs of ISO 9001:9002, 14001, 18001 activity. Drafted SOPs, manuals & work instructions for production operations for the unit and maintained accurate MIS reports for facilitating decision making by the management with ease. Conducted Internal / External Audit for the plant inventories. Headed the Quality Circle Group as Facilitator. Certified Internal IMS Auditor. Improvised the throughput from 5.85 MT/Hr to 6.1MT/Hr; throughput from 33 MT/Hr to 36 MT/Hr. Awarded for successful completion of Six Sigma Project titled “Reduction in Breakdown hours of Roaster-1” in 2008. Awarded for successful completion of 2 improvement projects in 2009. Worked as a Commissioning Team member in Commissioning of 954TPD Roaster and 900 TPD Acid Plant.
