About Sidney Elliott

I am recent graduate from the University of Northern British Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Planning accompanied by a Major in Natural Resource Planning. I have gained valuable experience from my program by being involved in two downtown revitalization projects with City of Prince George, Downtown Prince George and Tourism PG. Also helped develop a parks planning project partnered with the nearby district of Buckhorn. Through these projects I improved my skills on public speaking, developing presentations, creating posters and community engagement. Personal improvement on programs such as Canva, Microsoft Office, SketchUp & public online survey sites aided with the development of all projects and research throughout my schooling. I assisted with an Indigenous Planning course as a TA my last semester at UNBC, working with many Indigenous educators, students and working professionals. Started at Urban Systems Ltd. in May of 2025 as a Jr Community Planner, assisting the Prince George planning team with community engagements, report writing and research needs, moved into a permanent full time role with Urban Systems as a Community Planner September 2025.
