I meet each day with the goal of contributing to an environment of positive growth and change. My passion is being an influencer to my team. I believe in encouraging and fostering a work environment that is fun and that inspires my team. Happy employees are loyal, have good attitudes, support each other, and are more productive with less stress. Nothing gives me greater joy than knowing my team is happy and watching them grow in knowledge and experience. As a leader, my focus, is on creating a culture that is positive, not just for my team, but also our HR customers. Investing in relationships with our HR customers is an extremely important piece of building trust. Communication and collaboration are key to creating successful relationships. Throughout my career in HR, I have worked to build relationships that change attitudes about the HR function from a negative to a positive. My goal is to educate, support and be a strategic partner with our customers. My background includes my current role as a Human Resources and HRIS Manager for a multi-state (45+) federal government contractor in construction, environmental and technical services, over seven years of operations management in the staffing industry, and 20 plus years in human resources management. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Learning, which focuses on adult learning within the workplace and a HR certification. Currently working to obtain my Global PHR.
