About Sidyant Kumar
I am currently studying the different regimes of secondary atomization of drop. To comprehend this study, I have developed a shock tube facility from scratch. The facility can produce a shock wave of Mach No. The evolving morphology of drop are captured using high speed camera. Currently, I am trying to simulate the same using openFOAM. In addition to the above research, I have experimentally as well as computationally studied the supersonic flow over blunt body. In my research career, I have used High speed camera, Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer (PDPA) or Laser Diode Velocimeter (LDV), Unsteady pressure sensors and have hands on experience on many PM2.5 measuring instruments. I have used different visualization techniques such as Schileren/Shadowgraphy, Size and velocity characterization and PIV throughout my research career.
