About Siegfried Rott

My first experience in the transport industry dates back to 1988. Back then I was employed at Hellmann in Osnabrueck as a student worker. Although I was not actually involved in the operations, the concept of freight forwarding immediately interested me and aroused a certain amount of ambition to learn more and know more. In 1990 I initiated my training in the Textile Forwarding industry at Meyer & Meyer in Osnabrueck and was also exposed to international forwarding operations. In a period of three years I moved ahead and ended my employment as Operations Manager for Malta, Greece and Cyprus. My venture in setting up my own company started in 1993 and since then never looked back. Today my company is a leading service provider for freight movements to Eastern Europe and we also retained our activities over Malta. In April 2011 Freight Systems was set up to compliment our activities and to develop Sea Freight. Today Freight Systems GmbH has a branch office in Malta and development of new business is constant. I am a father of 3 children and with the full support of my Wife and the dedication of my staff I look forward to a bright future.
