Background
About Sierra Murray
I’m a social worker and workforce development leader with a strong commitment to advancing equity, resilience, and opportunity for historically marginalized communities. In my current role as Program Director at Emma’s Torch, I lead a team delivering trauma-informed, outcomes-driven programs across two program sites in NYC. My work focuses on program design, cross-sector partnership development, data-informed decision-making, and team leadership. I’m especially interested in worker-centered models, using food for social change, participatory governance, and strategies that support long-term economic mobility. Let’s chat if you are also interested in the intersection of social work, food, workforce development, and systems change!
