Hello there, I'm Sierra! If you're familiar with the ISFJ personality type, you would know that this MBTI type are the planners and organizers. Maybe the qualities suitable for an administrator role, hmm? Well, that's me! I remember when I got my first camera as a young girl. On each Polaroid picture I took, I would put the date and organize them (by date) in my mini photo album that I still have today. Around the same time, I would even help out some of my elementary teachers around the classroom (like grading papers) while everybody was still taking their tests. Even as young girl, doing these little administrative type tasks were things I did not mind and enjoyed. This foreshadowed to the type of work I was doing as a school office administrator. ⏩Fast forwarding to my first taste of having an administration role at a start-up non-profit private Montessori school. Besides doing administrative duties like organizing staff and student files, I was the person that teachers would go to if they needed something like ordering more supplies or snacks. Since I had the privilege of being the first office administrator at this school (and they were teaching future leaders), I was more than happy to be that person to make the teachers' lives easier by getting those supplies to make their classes run smoothly. Luckily, I enjoy organizing and being that kind of assistance. Not everyone enjoys being that kind of superhero, but I do consider being a company's go-to person to help assist even with the minor tasks as my superpower. Even though I do enjoy being that kind of assistance to help everyone with what they need, I also believe in maintaining your position, while not being drowned in what everyone else wants. Balance and understanding of others are what I believe makes not only an efficient team, but a team with trust in each member. 🦸‍Feel free to reach out if you would like to know more of my superpowers!
