About Signe Schou

I lead teams with passion, empathy, and purpose. I translate business goals into the right tasks and ensure engagement and motivation to deliver. As a manager of people and products, I believe in creating efficiency through trust: I trust that the people I work with are experts at their craft, and fully capable to make the best decisions for the product based on their expertise. They own the work, and my job is to even their path, always have their back, and support them by making the critical calls when necessary. Some call it distributed leadership; I call it eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy and getting things done. I have extensive experience with working in complex organisations. I believe that talking to everyone and engaging in the hard work of aligning stakeholder interests creates the best possible outcome for the business. No matter what function or role I occupy, I always see my work as interstitial: I build bridges, break silos, and make friends.
