About Sihem Jacques

We founded Ekozali Foundation after pointing out three main critical issues:#1: On average, one in two people in these professions suffers from burnout. The burnout symptoms among people who choose professions that have a meaningful impact: We enter professions that matter, yet we often burn out. The responsibility is overwhelming, we feel guilty, we carry the world's pain, and we lack recognition.#2: Frontline workers are the pillars of society, but their value is not fully recognized: Without frontline professionals, society would collapse. These roles—admirable from the outside—are often undervalued from within. There are staff shortages, absenteeism, and growing dissatisfaction. Who will care for, educate, protect, feed, and defend the most vulnerable among us? These workers are the foundation of a just society.#3: Far too many frontline professionals lack access to the support they need to thrive: Many professionals on the frontlines don't have the resources or the time to access the care they need to stay well. The result is a downward spiral—emotional numbness, breakdowns in communication, burnout, and unavailability. This stands in stark contrast to the core values of professions driven by compassion and human dignity, where we are called to care for others and protect the planet. In response to these challenges, I brought together a diverse, passionate team from around the world: A Board of Directors + A group of experts (coaches, therapists, psychologists) who share our commitment to high ethical standards and a common vision of human dignity. Together, we are dedicated to supporting the well-being of frontline professionals in the sectors of education, nonprofit work, and healthcare—professions that are integral to the protection and promotion of human rights, justice, and care for all.
