Dr. Sikander Khan, Professor obtained his PhD in FDI from Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University (SBSSU). Former Dean and Board Member of SBSSU for 9 years. He is a Senior Advisor to business enterprises, MNCs, United Nations, Government, top business schools and Cecia Consulting AB, Stockholm. Sikander has for 35 years been physically monitoring projects in 33 countries around the world. He has been Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) for the United Nations (UNIDO, UNDP, World Bank) in developing, implementing, and evaluating over projects with a value of over USD 15 billion. He has been a UN CTA on FDI to the various Governments in East and Southeast Asia, and teaching project management to senior executives at Fudan University, Shanghai (a joint IEMBA program with MIT, Boston). He is also a China/Asia Strategy Advisor to among others, the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education. Sikander is at present implementing several mega sustainable ecotourist projects in Asia. Providing expertise in the following areas: Business/competitive intelligence including geostrategies (geopolitics, geo-economics, and geo-military), and project management Working with clients on Investment Promotion in sustainable green ecotourist projects with net-zero carbon emissions, renewable energy, risk analysis, project financing models such as Green and Blue Bonds, blended finance, BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer), FCOT (Finance-Construct-Operate-Transfer) projects. These projects are in the Himalaya mountains, Indian Ocean, East and Southeast Asia. Develop projects which are designed to be sustainable from multiple perspectives: environmental, social, operational, and improving quality of life. These types of projects are expected to bring all 169 targets from the 17 UN SDGs into focus. Arrange and organize knowledge-based investment, R&D, and business strategy related study tours for senior management from the private and public sectors, MNCs, businessmen and academicians. Focus on East and Southeast Asia: China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
