About Silke Wittig

Silke started her own dog training business HeRo Canine Consulting LLC, a professional dog training and behavior consulting business, in 2006. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KSA®), Certified Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA®) and Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI™) as well as a certified "Assess-A-Pet" shelter dog evaluator, an approved "Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy" evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC) and evaluator for the APDT C.L.A.S.S.™ program. Silke currently offers one-one-one customized training and behavior modification programs in Bloomsburg and surrounding areas, K9 Nose Work® group classes in Bloomsburg, Lewisburg and Williamsport, as well as educational programs on dog-related topics for the community. Silke is a member of several professional organizations and adheres to their codes of ethics and professional conduct. She is also a mentor for budding dog trainers through the Animal Behavior College and CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. Silke attends seminars on dog training, dog behavior and canine activities on a regular basis to sharpen and update her knowledge and handling skills.
