After my very successful 10 years stint as a relationship manager and senior relationship manager in the wealth management industry across top 4 Indian banks, I now have been entrusted to handle a team of 15 relationship managers by my present employer. This team handling role requires nurturing the team with both knowledge and skills required for handling UHNI clients and their complex investment portfolios in one hand and enabling them with tools and enablers to achieve their budget on the other. Driving a team is not only about product and process knowledge percolation to the subordinates but also managing individuals in a way that they feel motivated enough to work in an auto-mode to achieve their KRAs and thus ultimately fulfilling the organizational business goals and I have been able to successfully do that till now as my team has been above 100% achievement in all of the important business parameters like Investment AUM, PMS and AIF AUM, SIPs, Client acquisition and new to investment clients. In this job role I have been travelling extensively and continuously throughout the beautiful, diverse as well as rugged terrains of entire northeast India to manage my team of these 15 relationship managers and also meeting UHNI clients from various cultures, background, societies and tribes from the seven-sister states of northeast India. This experience has enhanced my skills to handle subordinates as well as clients from various cultures and backgrounds.
