Make sure you never stop playing [.] Don't worry, you'll find other ways to play." — My father This quote has accompanied me throughout life, fuelling my curiosity and reminding me that design—at its core—is a way of playing with complexity to make sense of the world. I’m a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, working within the Design+Strategies research group. Through my PhD research, I developed the concept of Systemic Proximity—a framework that reimagines urban services as ecosystems of care, focusing on the relational and systemic dimensions of urban transformation. With a background in Product-Service System Design, I’ve designed and facilitated co-design processes with institutional partners, public and private organisations, and cultural and creative enterprises across national and international contexts. I’ve collaborated on several EU-funded projects applying strategic and systemic design methods to foster social innovation and collaborative change. Whether through research, teaching, or participatory design, I’m committed to surfacing complexity's human (and more-than-human), relational, and systemic dimensions.
