About Silvia Duong

Started my profession with a creative background, I found an outlet for my creativity from an internship I applied for in 2013. The company I interned with, Articulture Designs, is a local design firm located in Austin, TX. I assisted the owner and lead designer with her variety of projects for a wide range of different clientele, I soon took on the role of a design assistant, thus expanding my experience and knowledge of marketing, event coordinating, and business within the creative realm. I applied skills that I obtained from attending art school, such as having a flexible mindset and schedule, the importance of teamwork and communication, and being adaptable to any constructive criticism given during a presentation of a project. After my time at Articulture Designs, I found my role as a Mobile Event Coordinator and Instructor at Pinot's Palette LLC in 2015. I took on multiple projects and events from different corporations and social organizations. I led numerous events along with a great team to fulfill the quality of entertainment that Pinot's has to offer. After some time of gaining experience from my Event Coordinator role, I've proceeded to take on the position of General Manager for two studios. I see it as an opportunity to challenge and grow in the company. Because most, if not all, businesses need a solid foundation of efficiency and productive management. In February 2020, I joined Pinot's Palette, LLC corporate team as the MPL (Product Manager) and Innovation Director. My responsibilities are to review multiple paintings (products) ensure they are of high quality before they reach the customer-facing side. I also lead monthly Innovation meetings with my team and committee to stay up-to-date with upcoming trends in our market. This involves sessions of R&D for new potential products that may Go To Market. My role isn't limited to product management and innovation as I also part-take in multiple training sessions with new franchise owners in preparation for a successful opening. My current objective is to expand my knowledge of Product Operations Management using Agile processes and methods. And get a better understanding of the front and back end of product development while streamlining consistent communication between my core team and key stakeholders to ensure the Product Strategy takes priority during development process.
