About Silvia Mora
With Master’s degrees in both Translation and Business Administration, I have always been curious about how people learn to think, behave and communicate in different languages and cultures. After a career start as a self-employed translator and interpreter, I joined Microsoft Ireland, where I held different positions in the field of intercultural communication. I then entered the European institutions where I gained extensive experience in areas such as multilingualism, EU programme management, intercultural communication, financial management, decision making and learning and development. Since 2006, I develop as a leader, in-house trainer, facilitator and coach with a focus on collective intelligence and participatory methods. Having worked more than 29 years within the Committee of the Regions, the European Commission and the European Parliament, I have a broad experience and knowledge of the EU institutions.
