About Silvia Salzano

I’m Psychologist. My life’s desire is to travel and get in touch with nature. Furthermore, wonder and discovery are characteristics that set me apart. Sports and people are my life’s medicine. I graduated with a degree in Applied Psychology in the Contexts of Health, Work, and Forensic Law. I chose this path because I have faith in the unexpressed potential of people and the importance of listening, which I believe are the best ways to understand and achieve our goals. I was able to put this into practice during the year of my extracurricular internship where I gained experience in participating in Recruiting, Vocational Orientation and Development workshops, as well as when I tutored and worked with teens and children with Learning Disorders (LD) in collaboration with a private speech therapy practice. Through these experiences, I implemented the knowledge I acquired during my studies such as selection and interview techniques, performance and talent management, and training and development. Later, persevering with my goal of becoming a psychologist, I chose to undertake a postgraduate professional internship so as to obtain my desired title at The People & Organization Holding of Enel Group. I worked with the people development team and in the first six months at this company, I was able to experiment with different projects, not only within the whole Enel parameter, but also for individual countries. At the end I was included on the Recruiting and Talent acquisition team through which I learned new selection techniques. After that, I left Italy for 2 months because I wanted to improve my fluency in English. Actually, I decided to attend an Intensive English Course at Linguaviva Center in Dublin. I went back to Italy and I’m starting this new path as Recruiter & Talent Acquisition Specialist at OT Consulting. How do I wish to shape my strategy? Wellness and people must be at the center of the company. I wish to build a gentle leadership attentive to listening, caring for others, and empathy by identifying and developing people's relative, absolute, and agentive potential.
