I am an enthusiastic pricing and product management professional – and an award-winning academic researcher. Combining academic research and practical insights allows me to rigorously develop timely and relevant research and positively contribute to business. Today, as a pricing manager in Retail SW Management at Diebold Nixdorf (a top 10 global financial and retail technology company with employees) I am fascinated about developing and executing commercial excellence in the software-as-a-service (SAAS) business. In the past I have been an accomplished financial leader and business partner for highly complex businesses. My 15+ years of business expertise include bid financial management of high-value complex global deals, go-to-market initiatives and innovation, business negotiations, cross-functional team leadership, contract management, business cases, risk management, performance controlling, budgeting, and M&A initiatives. As an academic, I am passionate about servitization, business models, and pricing. My recent study investigated how to address paradoxical tensions in advanced service offerings with value-based pricing approaches. As a university lecturer I cover a variety of subjects including Business Process Management, Value Chain Management and qualitative research methods. My teaching style is creative and collaborative to inspire and encourage students in their personal and professional development.
