About Silvia Trebbi

I steadily worked in the People Republic of China for over 11 years, starting from September 2008, and I was based in Shanghai. The main skills I gained working in the Representative Office of an Italian Banking Group in China are as follows- Providing consultant services related to international banking activities- Doing market researches- Collecting credit information about Chinese companies- Providing customer support during the set up of JV, WFOE, etc.(in co-operation with qualified local law firms and chartered accountants)- Providing customer support during the local/expat staff recruitment- Providing customer support during international exhibitions in Shanghai. I was the only Italian staff-member in UBI Banca Shanghai office, so I practiced both Chinese and English languages almost every day, managing the working relationship with my local colleagues. Since March 2020, I have been first assigned to the Institutional Credit Department in UBI><Banca (Brescia office) and later in Intesa Sanpaolo, following the merger between the two banks in April 2021. During this period, I perfected my knowledge and skills in risk analysis and risk evaluation processes. From September 2021 to the end of 2023, I've been assigned to International Subsidiary Banks Division, China Wealth Management Development Department in Intesa Sanpaolo HQ. During this period I joined a team of professionals in charge of supervising the business development project of Qingdao Yicai Fund Distribution Co, Ltd. Main responsabilities: monitoring Financial Advisors hiring process on the Chinese WM market; monitoring commercial performances of FAs' teams and assessing the subsequent expansion of commercial office network in China; supervising FAs' Commercial Handbook; planning and monitoring revenue volumes. From January, 1st 2024, I've been assigned to International Banks Division, Retail & Wealth Management Department in Intesa Sanpaolo HQ.
