About Silviu Toderas

Over the past 15 yeast in the field, I have explored several technologies and positions, each of the change being a new challenge accepted and a step out of the comfort zone. Microsoft was the place where I obtained most of my professional achievements, in no small part due to a growth mindset which allowed me to incorporate the feedback and build on myself and on others. Because of my customer obsession, I always managed to provide excellent service and advice, backed up by a solid technical foundation supplemented by continuous learning, and by leveraging, whenever situation required, collaboration with teams and peers worldwide. I involved myself in a plethora of amazing projects, from which both myself and the business benefited greatly and which have brought me several internal and external public recognition along the way. During my time here, I have been exposed to huge variety of cultures around the globe, gaining insight and experience on how to seamlessly and efficiently understand, interact, communicate and collaborate with each one of them. Due to this, I am also one of the trainers inside Microsoft who regularly delivers a business and culture foundation workshop addressed to peers worldwide. My professional journey has equipped me with additional abilities, like managing difficult and critical scenarios, resilience in face of adversities, setting the right expectations, navigating negotiations, sensitive and political situations, on the fly adapting to new situations, leadership, embracing culture differences and being inclusive, along with problem-solving skills (Kepner-Tregoe practitioner).
