About Simal Iqbal

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Riphah International University, where I studied the principles and applications of biomedical engineering, such as biomechanics, bioinstrumentation, and biomedical imaging. I also developed skills in Microsoft Office, MATLAB, and LabVIEW, which I used to complete various projects and assignments. My goal is to pursue a career in biomedical engineering, where I can use my skills and knowledge to develop innovative solutions that improve the health and well-being of people. As a Biomedical Engineering Intern at Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi, I applied my project management skills and biomedical engineering knowledge to support the hospital's medical equipment and devices. I worked with a team of engineers and technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various biomedical systems, such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps. I also assisted in the installation, testing, and calibration of new equipment and devices, ensuring that they met the safety and quality standards. I gained valuable experience in the field of biomedical engineering, especially in the hospital setting, where I learned how to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and collaborate with different stakeholders.
