About Simcha Zevit

While I love engaging with all kinds of clients, I work primarily with mission driven leaders and teams in healthcare, non-profit/social impact sectors. and religious organizations. I am driven by a desire to empower and support those who serve the greater good, and to help people have more access to more of who they are and can be. I use the term WholeBeing to describe my approach to coaching because I believe that we need all of our inner resources to lead and live fully - this includes somatic awareness, emotional intelligence, growth-oriented mindsets and awareness of the full range of who and how we are, and alignment with vision and a deep sense of purpose. Research shows again and again that inner development of these resources drives outer impact. My work is often focused at the intersection of well-being and leadership development. Our own capacity for effective, caring, and engaging leadership that inspires others to make their best contributions is grounded - in large part – in our holistic well-being in body-heart-mind-and-spirit. It's not just what we do and say, but the quality of our presence - how we show up - that is key to how others experience and respond to us. Depending on clients needs and interests, we may work together on increasing the body’s energy and vitality, opening to the emotional range and intelligence of the heart, finding clarity of thought that is no longer stuck in old beliefs and mindsets (and therefore behaviors) that are barriers to success, and/or how to align with soul-driven purpose and vision. The overall result we’ll aim for is a sense of wholeness that brings empowered, positive and lasting change. I founded Simcha Zevit Coaching after many years of experience helping others live into their best selves personally and professionally: as a spiritual care provider for patients, families and staff in two major US hospitals, as a rabbi, founder of a non-profit spirituality organization, an educator, mindfulness teacher, and as a trainer/facilitator. My passion is working with individuals, teams, and organizations who care about maximizing their inner potential to bring outer change that contributes to creating a better world where all can thrive.
