About Simen Opedal

I am an IT-consultant at Netcompany where I currently focus on developing backend systems for a Norwegian government institution. In my work I utilize Java, Kotlin, Spring, React and many other technologies used in the various platforms. My academic background in Computer Science at NTNU, specializing in software engineering, has provided me with a solid foundation in IT. With a lifelong interest in technology, I have developed my skills working on numerous personal and academic projects. I am passionate about full-stack development and in addition to the aforementioned technologies I have experience with React, Javascript, SQL, Django. Alongside my technical pursuits, I have also have an academic interest in finance, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics. I have worked part time as a customer advisor for DNB for many years, gaining valuable experience and insights into the financial sector. Overall, I hope my diverse skill set and academic background is of interest.
