With over 10 years of experience in Human Resources, I’ve built a career focused on optimizing employee experiences, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance. Starting at University Health Network (UHN), I managed HR services for employees, overseeing key initiatives like onboarding, life event changes, and pension management. I led cross-functional collaborations and created solutions that enhanced employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. One of my proudest achievements was launching the HR Admin Support webpage, which improved access to HR resources and service delivery. In my current role at Unity Health Toronto, I lead Total Rewards, specializing in benefits and pension administration. I ensure compliance, streamline processes, and drive employee engagement through tailored benefits programs and systems improvements. By collaborating with various departments, I’ve helped streamline workflows, reducing administrative bottlenecks and improving the employee experience. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that HR is not just about policies but about understanding and responding to people’s needs. My ability to identify challenges and provide effective solutions has led to improved employee retention and satisfaction.
