About Siming Guo

As the Senior Manager QA/FA Engineering at FormFactor, I lead a team of engineers and cross-functional projects to develop and execute reliability strategies for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) products, from early R&D stages to high volume manufacturing. I have over seven years of experience in this role, and I am an ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer and an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.I am an expert in MEMS reliability and failure analysis, conducting reliability test development, FMEA, SPC, and material characterization for product performance assessment, yield improvement, and cost reduction. I also collaborate with integration, design, modeling, test, and reliability teams to develop, characterize, and implement new MEMS structures and technologies. I have a PhD in mechanical engineering with a strong background in experimental mechanics, and I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. I am proficient in using various laboratory and computational tools, such as DIC, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, Microhardness, Nanoindenter, 2D/3D computer vision, and MTS/Instron testing system. My mission is to deliver reliable and innovative MEMS solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
