When I was 8 years old - my Dad, who worked night shifts in a car factory for 25 years, told me: “Work hard so you don’t end up with a sh*t job like me” At 11, I was tutoring maths for cash. At 14, I was selling sweets on the playground. At 17, I worked 3 part-time jobs alongside my A levels. At 18, I became my Dad’s carer. At 19, I started a business selling meals at uni called “Rice n Spice”. Today, that business is Simmer.
