About Simmy Kumar

Simmy is devoted to supporting leadership and self-determination within communities of color to amplify the stories of resilience and liberation that drive us forward. Having spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector, in fundraising, operations, and program management, Simmy is most passionate about cultivating relationships and developing systems and processes. These two skills recognize how a small part contributes to a whole- how our work is interconnected. Her current work allows her to support organizations in creating human & relationship centered systems. Simmy also brings this perspective into her coaching style for a holistic approach. Her positivity, collaboration, and strengths-based approach make her an excellent partner in making a positive impact. Simmy earned her BA from Franklin University Switzerland and an MPA from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a focus in community development.
