About Simo Pekkinen
I am currently working as a Doctoral researcher in the Energy conversion research group at Aalto university. My research focuses on hydrogen storage technology and how it can be integrated into renewable-based energy systems. During my studies for a M.Sc.(Tech.) degree in Energy technology at Aalto University I focused on energy production and storages. I completed my master's thesis in the Energy conversion group on electrochemical discharge of lithium-ion batteries. In the future I would like to have an active role in transitioning towards cleaner energy solutions.
