Business Development Director and Technology Application Specialist. Transforming Space and Geospatial data into applications for the protection of our marine environments our urban fabric and the space infrastructure our society depends upon. A thought leader in the design and application of satellite derived data, geospatial systems, and solution architecture. 15 years’ experience working in the space sector, delivering actionable intelligence and decision support solutions to Governments and organisations in the technology and overseas development sectors. Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and Environmental Remote Sensing and a proud fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Space is a domain which I have always been passionate about, and during my time at the Satellite Applications Catapult I was able to extend my knowledge far beyond the technical implementation to build an extensive network across the global space industry. I fulfilled a lifelong goal of working for the UK Space Agency as Lead Technologist for Space Applications and now use the experience I have gained to engage with the wider industry on some of the challenges facing us today.
