About Simon Amm

I offer an uncommon set of skills, comprising analytical ability as well as strength in negotiation and communication. I have worked in Project Finance for more than 25 years, with extensive experience in the negotiation of contracts across various groups of stakeholders. My roles have spanned both the investment banking and private equity sides of Project Finance, giving me insight into decision-making by both lenders and investors. I have highly advanced skills in Excel-based financial modelling of projects and associated cash flows. I have developed and adapted numerous financial models for clients across a range of sectors. I have a Master's degree in Economics. My Master's dissertation used a large database of South African households to explore how retirement assets are spread across the population, and the implications that might have for corporate income tax policy. I have an ability for cultivating strong inter-personal and professional links with colleagues and clients alike, across diverse groups of people.
