About Simon Anderson
My background is in emergency medicine research, having worked on various projects in both adult and pediatric populations. Wanting to deepen my understanding of care for serious illnesses, I pivoted to working in palliative care during my Master's in Public Health at UBC. Currently, I support a variety of projects related to palliative care research, knowledge translation, clinical guidelines and policy development. In 2024 I became a registered paramedic with the EMALB currently holding an EMR license. My current interests are in palliative care policy, prehospital care and emergency medicine, and the ways in which these fields intersect.
