About Simon Becker

I am an analytical, driven, and ambitious student currently pursuing my BSc Degree in Business and Economics majoring in Economics, with the ambitions of pursuing a MSc Degree in Economics or start working at an expert government agency afterwards. Alongside my studies I work part-time as a Service Advisor at Nordea, and I also run the Karlstad Finance Group initiative! My strong interest in societal issues has always been a key motivator for me choosing to study economics. I am particularly fascinated by how economic decisions and macroeconomic factors such as growth, interest rates, and inflation impact people's lives and societal development. Furthermore, I have a strong passion for leadership and management. I thrive in roles where I can take responsibility, drive initiatives, and guide others toward common goals. In the future, I envision myself working within some of these fields, contributing to a better world — as this is fundamentally what drives me. Let's connect!
